Normally, once you experience a bug or when the iPhone is currently acting up, your first instinct is to perform a force restart in which you hold and tap the House and Electricity button. This nifty trick takes good care of little bugs in the operating system (everything from battery problems into UI bugs). And since this is existence, the problems will definitely occur with all the X farther down the road.
However, Apple has altered the procedure of a force restart (or hard reboot). Here is the way to get it done on the iPhone.
How to Force Restart iPhone X?
It has turned from a simple gesture to some little of an orchestrated dance. You have to press two buttons in fast (and transparent) series and hold the following button. You’ll help through the steps beneath.
Step 1: Press Volume Up
Quickly press and release the Volume Up button.
Step 2: Press Volume Down
You need to press quickly and release the Volume Down button.
Step 3: Press and hold Side Button
Try to press quickly and hold the Negative button (Sleep/Wake button) until you find the Apple logo.
Attempt Resetting Settings and the Phone
